| Аннотация | The paper explores prospects of world agricultural production in Asia, Africa, Australia, Europe, North and South America. They are examined along two prevailing modes of production. One is labor saving and the other is land saving mode. Conditions when there be enough food to feed the growing world population are spelled out. Limits to growth are predicted to affect African development, while the food forecast for the coming decades is set in positive tones. Key words: grain production forecast, long range agricultural trends up to 2050, technological modes of production, land saving model, labor saving model, world and regional agriculture. |
